APRIL 13, 2008 - APRIL 13, 2008 - It was a great
day and thanks to friends and family, we caught up
on ole’ times; and shared a great meal. Once again, our thanks to the
folks from Vista Church for their outstanding help. The silent auction
was fun with lots of great items and bargains. The kids ran around and
played
FEBRUARY 1, 2008 - Geronimo Village responded to
yet another record breaking number of calls, ending the month with 295

and enjoyed the animals provided by Fiesta Farm on FM 1560. That’s what
it was all about. So the tradition continues. This year Dickey’s
Barbecue served a great meal. And we thank them for their great
unexpected additional generosity to our Fire Department. Folks sat in
our Hall and out on the picnic tables.
Some
came early and some stayed late. Thank you for touring the Fire Station
to see our trucks and meet our staff. We had lots of comments from folks
that did not know what all it takes to provide our services. This is
your department, and we want you to know all about it. With your help we
will be able to add sleeping quarters and bathrooms on to the Central
Station.
FEBRUARY
8, 2008 - Geronimo Village presented CitiBank with a plaque for
their outstand support and contribution to Geronimo Village in 2007.
In late 2007, CitiBank presented Geronimo Village an eight thousand
dollar donation to help improve services and infrastructure.
